Painful, Numb or Burning Feet |

This condition is called peripheral neuropathy and is due to damaged nerves that can be caused by diabetes, chemotherapy or alcoholism. Surprisingly, in over 50% of the patients suffering from this problem, there is no known cause. Heredity, autoimmune diseases, side effects from medications, exposure to chemicals and trauma are suspected factors.
