The Abbott Foot & Ankle Clinic offers a wide variety of specialty products designed specifically for the effective treatment of your foot conditions.
We offer a complete line of gel toe props, pads, and heel and bunion protectors to name a few. This is the only line of foot care products that is accepted by the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association. Also included in this line are several moisturizing foot creams and wound care ointments. These products were designed specifically for medical practices and therefore are not available in retail stores.
For patients with Diabetes or Poor Circulation, seamless socks are available in various colors and sizes to fit you comfortably without restricting your circulation or irritating your toes.
A simple pressure exam is available that helps to identify areas on the bottom of the feet that may be at risk of tissue breakdown or ulceration. Diabetes is the leading cause of non-traumatic amputations, many of which can be prevented with this simple test and by using protective insoles and shoes to reduce pressure where needed. If you already have a foot ulcer, special healing shoes may also be purchased from our clinic.
